Every once in a while, you may wish to change the password on your email accounts.
Perhaps you feel the password you had already wasn’t strong enough, or maybe you are worried for some reason about the security of your account.
Changing the password is quite simple, and in this blog I’ll run through the steps to re-setting and creating new ones.
- Login to your account
Simply go to https://profitability.secureapi.com.au to open the dashboard for your account.
You’ll see a page which looks something like this at the top.
- Click on the ‘My Account’ in the top right and login with your username and password.
- Click on web hosting.
- Next you need to select your domain.
It may be that you have more than one website being hosted, in which case you need to select the one you wish to work with.
- Click on the orange ‘Control Panel’ button
- This will open a new tab, click on Email Accounts (first icon on the list):
- You will see a list with your emails, click on the Manage button for each email you would like to update the password:
- Set your new password on the New Password field. You can click on Generate for the system to suggest you with a strong password. When you’re done, click on Update Email Settings at the bottom.
Now the passwords have been successfully changed don’t forget to update the password anywhere you previously set up access to the email (Outlook, mobile phone etc)
